This office, with locations in Chicago and Lisle, IL, administers four benefit plans (funds): Health Fund, Pension Fund, Supplemental Retirement Fund (SRP), and Millmen Pension Fund.
Mid-America Carpenters Regional Benefit Services, Inc., (MACRBS) is a member-service not-for-profit that administers multiple benefit plans for union carpenters and their families in Southern Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas (former members of the St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenters Regional Council). The plans administered by MACRBS include the St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenters Regional Health, Vacation and Annuity Plans, as well as the Carpenters Pension Trust Fund of St. Louis.
The Central Illinois Carpenters Benefit Funds (CIC) is a is a member-service not-for-profit that administers multiple benefit plans for union carpenters and their families in Illinois and Iowa. This office is located in Lincoln, IL and administers three benefit plans (funds): Health & Welfare Fund, Retirement Savings Fund and Substance Abuse Fund.
The Construction Industry Welfare Fund of Rockford (CIFR) is a is a member-service not-for-profit that administers benefit plans for union carpenters and their families in Rockford, Illinois. CIFR has two offices in Illinois, the main office in Rockford and a corporate office in Schaumburg.
The Heartland Healthcare Fund was established in April 2002 as a result of collective bargaining agreements between the Heartland Regional Council of Carpenters and the Illinois Valley Contractors Association, Iowa Millwright Contractors Association, and Quad-City Builders Association (collectively). The Heartland Regional Council of Carpenters has since been dissolved and the Local Unions that were affiliated with the Heartland Regional Council of Carpenters continue to participate in the plan. The operation and administration of the plan is the joint responsibility of the Board of Trustees appointed by the Union and the participating Associations.
